Telford woman handed £1,648 bill after someone else dumped her rubbish on council land
A Telford resident has been told to pay £1,648 after pleading guilty to allowing someone else to dump her waste on land owned by the borough council.



Telford is named after the civil engineer Thomas Telford who was renowned for his road and canal projects in Shropshire. It is among the fastest growing and most successful new towns in the UK. Its hi-tech businesses, tall office buildings, new estates and the biggest shopping centre for miles around makes it popular with visitors.
