Chris Whitty visits Shropshire for discussions on rural health challenges
Shropshire Council has hosted a visit by Professor Sir Chris Whitty, the country's chief medical officer, who became a household name during the Covid pandemic.

South Shropshire is the most rural area of the county. It is home to ancient monuments and is packed with history, and includes Ludlow, where tourists flock to all year round to visit the castle and many other landmarks.
