Road closed after crash

Emergency services were called to the trunk road in Dorrington at about 2.15pm.

There were reports that people were trapped.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was able to get the incident under control within half an hour.

It is not yet known whether anyone was injured.

West Mercia police said the road was closed in both directors for a time with diversions set up. Drivers were urged to find other routes.
