Shropshire trail makes The Telegraph's list of 11 Britain’s finest winter walks
A county country path has made a national list of the finest winter walks in Britain.

A small town on the Welsh border with south Shropshire, Clun has been named by the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England as one of the most tranquil locations in England. Popular with walkers, it sits on the Offa's Dyke path and boasts its own ruined castle that towers above the town. Every year the town hosts a unique Green Man Festival to welcome the spring.
