Runners help raise more than £31,000 for Hope House at dark runs in Telford and Chirk
More than 1,600 runners lit up the night and raised over £31,000 for a local children's hospices.


A small town on the border of Shropshire but part of Wrexham County Borough, Chirk was a formerly a coal mining community. It has a host of local shops and a good range of facilities including its train station. Chirk also boasts a number of tourist attractions including Chirk Aqueduct and Chirk Castle, now owned by the National Trust.
