Fire crews were called to put out the agricultural loader which was found to be well alight after catching fire on the slip road from the A49 into the north of Ludlow, at about 11.50am this morning.

The fire was confined to the tractor unit itself, and put out with a water jet by about 12.30pm.

The road was blocked while crews dealt with the fire, and Highways England were called to deal with a spillage of hydraulic oil from the vehicle.
