Despite impressing in his time in England with his powerful displays and quality touch, the French-Algerian acknowledges his battle to regain a spot in the starting line-up.
He said: "Now I'm out of the team I have to show I can get back in by training well every day.
"Like every player I really want to be involved in every match, so I have to work again to prove to the gaffer I can be in the starting line-up.
"I enjoyed coming on against Everton and getting involved. I am hoping to do more of what I did when I came into the team. Whether the gaffer gives us two, or five or 20 minutes, it's up to us to use that time to show what we can do.
"Every minute you spend on the pitch is important."
Guedioura is an all-action player similar to Henry, but the younger man admits the skipper's boots are big ones to fill.
