With the Cumbria-based outfit having drawn 3-3 at the New Bucks Head just a few weeks before, there were mixed feelings over whether Rob Smith's men could snatch all three points.
But having seen league leaders Kettering maintain their status at the top of the standings over previous weeks, second-placed Telford were keen to keep up the pressure . . . right up to the last minute.
