Kenny Jackett wishes Dave Edwards well
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has wished midfielder David Edwards all the best as Wales prepare for the biggest match in their country's history tonight.
Chris Coleman's side take on Portugal for a place in the European Championship final.
And owing to Aaron Ramsey's suspension, Edwards has a good chance in being involved either from the start or as a substitute.
Jackett, who has been in regular contract with the 30-year-old, said: "It's great to see Dave is still out there.
"It'll be interesting with the changes whether he gets any game time.
"You never know. But either way it's great experience for him, and it's very good for the club.
"It was a great game on Friday, of a terrific standard.
"And Wales deserved it, particularly after coming through a tough opening period.
"Ramsey's been fantastic, almost as good as anybody in the tournament.
"It's terrific to see. The involvement of the British sides has made it very interesting.
"I couldn't envisage them getting this far. But you've got to say that in terms of performances it hasn't been a fluke."
