James Henry targets more of the same to fire Wolves into Premier League

Ambitious James Henry today targeted a repeat of his 'double figure' League One stats to fire Wolves to the Premier League next season.

Winger Henry came away from the club's record-breaking title season with the impressive return of 10 goals and 10 assists from 32 League games.

And as the 24-year-old prepares to return to the Championship stage he left in November to join Wolves, the former Reading man is aiming for a similar return at the higher level.

"I managed to get 10 goals and 10 assists in three-quarters of a season but now I want to do that again next year," said Henry. "I believe in my ability and I want to prove I can do it all again in the Championship and I believe in this team as well.

"We achieved promotion in the first season for a new squad and we're enjoying it but then it's all about next season.

"When the Championship starts up, this will mean nothing. We have to make this just a stepping stone."

And as he reflected on a magnificent season, Henry echoed head coach Kenny Jackett's determination to challenge for a return to the top flight.

"To play a part in getting us promoted has been an honour but we're not resting on our laurels," he said.
