Steve Morgan: Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has '100 per cent' backing
Wolves owner Steve Morgan today vowed to back Kenny Jackett "100 per cent to achieve what he wants".
Morgan told a packed gathering of 710 people at the club's end of season awards dinner at Telford International Centre that he will support the head coach.
"The one thing I love about Kenny is he knows what he wants for next year," said the chairman.
"I've never experienced that with any manager here and he'll be supported 100 per cent to achieve what he wants. Hopefully we're celebrating again this time next year.
"It's a tough league we're going into – possibly the toughest in the world to get out of, but that's what we do: Get up and at it."
Kevin McDonald was named Wolves' double Player of the Year after being crowned players' player and fans' choice.
The 25-year-old playmaker pipped Richard Stearman and Carl Ikeme for the players' vote and Danny Batth and Ikeme for the fans' poll.
"It's such an honour to be voted as player of the year by both the fans and the players," said McDonald.
Michael Jacobs won goal of the season for his stunning strike in the 3-0 win at Brentford.
Jack Price was named young professional of the year.
