Chief executive Jez Moxey announced at February's Fans' Parliament that the club would refund the 9,036 fans who renewed during the Early Bird offer if the team was relegated.

Adults behind the goals who renewed in full and online in the first Early Bird window will receive £35 each.

Adults in the Billy Wright Stand upper tier will receive £45 and it will be £40 for those in the Billy Wright lower and Steve Bull Stand upper.

Only under-12s in the Billy Wright lower – who pay £1 per League game – won't receive rebates.

Wolves aim to complete the payback by the end of June and each supporter will be emailed once the money is returned.

New season tickets behind the goals cost £345 for adults, which equates to £15 per League game, compared to £20 paying match by match. Adult admission in the Billy Wright upper will cost £25, £5 lower than last season.

The equivalent season ticket at £460 (£20 per match) would save £5 per game.

Wolves have also cut junior matchday prices. Under-17s range from £9-£13 compared to £6.96-£10 when the equivalent season ticket is bought (£160 behind the goals and £230 in the Billy Wright Stand upper).

Booking fees are payable on top.

The deadline for summer season ticket renewals – on general sale immediately – is June 7, although existing season ticket seats aren't released for sale until June 17.

Wolves' head of ticketing and membership Lynne O'Reardon said: "We thank all our season ticket holders who renewed.

"Wolves pledged to rebate those season ticket holders in the event of relegation and over £260,000 will be returned to season ticket holders.

"We're very aware why some fans decided against taking-up the Early Bird offer.

"We now need to encourage these often long-standing fans to re-commit and support what we hope will be a young and successful team."
