Emotional boss Terry Connor today admitted Wolves will be in mourning for several days after being relegated.
Yesterday's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City consigned Wolves to the drop after three years of top-flight football.
The club will lose around £30m next season from the loss of Sky TV earnings.
Wolves have taken just two points out of 30 under Connor and the manager revealed the pain of the drop.
"It was a really tough, emotional and raw day, not just for myself, but the staff, players, supporters - everyone connected with the club will feel the hurt," he said.
"We're going to find the next few days really tough.
"I've been here 13 years and I can't really put it into words.
"Fans have spoken to me who have supported this club through thick and thin for a lot longer than that.
"This will be seen as one of the thin years, but whichever players and manager are here, the club will bounce back," he said.
Connor, who has been appointed to the last game of the season admitted he had no idea what the future holds for him.
"I don't know," he said. "I just want to get to May 13 and get as many points as we can."
