But the pair were restricted to 15 and 14 Premier League starts respectively as a combination of different reasons kept the duo, who signed a year ago, sidelined.
Fletcher, 24, struggled for games early on after an injury-plagued start as boss Mick McCarthy largely stuck with Kevin Doyle on his own up front.
Winger Hunt, who cost around £3.5m, didn't play until October because of a serious foot injury, followed by calf and hernia problems.
But the 29-year-old finished the campaign in style and Morgan believes the best is yet to come from Hunt and Fletcher.
"The two Steves, Fletcher and Hunt, both did great jobs," said Morgan.
"We missed Hunty through injury for a lot of the season, but when he came back, he was fabulous.
"Fletcher was the top scorer without playing in anything like the amount of games he perhaps could have played in," added Morgan.
"What would he do with a full season?"
