Baggies loan star Sarmiento is yet to start under Corberan as he initially built up his fitness at The Hawthorns.

Corberan subsequently said the winger is physically ready to be included from the off but he still awaits a first start. The Brighton starlet, an Ecuadorian international, scored late on against Middlesbrough from the bench, but Corberan said after Albion's defeat to Huddersfield he expects to see a more consistent work-rate.

"If I was to evaluate him, the level of minutes that he played against Huddersfield, he showed that he still has problems to manage the minutes of the game," Corberan explained.
