Shropshire's hopes of only a second winner of the Autumn Waterloo bowls championship are over.

Both Castlefields star CallumWraight and St Georges skipper Glyn Picknell bowed out yesterday to miss out on today's finals day in Blackpook for the last eight.
Wraight went out 21-13 to Steve Copeland while Picknell won his fifth-round tie against Dave McDermott 21-12 but lost in the last 16 against Andy Hayes 21-18.
