The New Saints net a home draw
Holders The New Saints have landed a favourable home tie in the fourth round of the Welsh Cup.
Welsh Premier League leaders Saints, who had to battle back from 2-0 down to overcome Caernarfon Town 3-2 in the competition on Sunday, will face Welsh National League side Gresford Athletic at home.
All clubs in the draw are guaranteed £2,500 in prize money, which rises to a minimum of £6,000 for fourth round winners.
Mid-Wales rivals Caersws and Newtown have been paired together. The sides were regular adversaries in the Welsh Premier, but have not met for a number of seasons after Caersws dropped down to the Cymru Alliance.
The Bluebirds, who defeated Tiger Bay 4-0 in the previous round, will have home advantage at their Recreation Ground base.
Spar Mid Wales League side Llanrhaeadr, who have reached the fourth round for the first time in their history, have been rewarded with a home clash against Welsh Premier outfit Rhyl.
The ties will be played over the weekend of the February 6-8.
Meanwhile, The New Saints goalkeeper Antoni Sarnowski has been called up to train with the Polish Under-17s.
Sarnowski will team up for a four-day get together in Wola Chorzelowska.
Youth team coach Steve Evans was delighted to hear news about his call up, saying: "I am really pleased for Antoni and I want him to go there and enjoy it.
"He has been working very hard here at TNS and it is now important that he kicks on and keeps improving."
