Rachael Kelly, from Ashley near Market Drayton, finished fifth in the final of the 100m fly at the event which is doubling up as the Olympic trials.
Teenager Rachael, who swims for the Royal Wolverhampton School, just missed out on breaking the 60 second barrier in the event which saw Ellen Gandy and Fran Halsall win gold and silver respectively and qualify for the Olympics in the summer.
University of Bath based-Chis Walker-Hebborn, who swims for and coaches at Ellesmere College Titans, will be hoping to gain Olympic qualification with Liam Tanncock when he competes in the 100m backstroke final tonight.
Walker-Hebborn was the second fastest qualifier for the final behind 50m backstroke world record holder Tanncock.
Also at the trials, one of the youngest swimmers taking part was Georgia Huddlestone, 13, from Wrekin College Swimming Club who took part in the 100m breaststroke heats.
