Hanwood set to rejoin Shropshire bowls elite?

Hanwood are on the brink of re-joining Shropshire's bowls elite.

The Tanners Shropshire League champions edged out Madeley Cricket Club by nine chalks in a gripping encounter at Prees last night to move into the Furrows Shropshire Premier League play-off final.

And they now meet wooden spoonists Bylet on the non-Premier green at St Georges on Friday (7pm) to determine who will be the 14th and final team in the 2012 top flight.
