Shrewsbury-based The Rail will become Bagley BC in 2010 as they start to rebuild after being at the centre of a big housing development at the Coton Hill site for the last couple of years.

The change of name was confirmed at a Tanners Shropshire League executive meeting at Greenfields, when delegates voted to start the main season on Friday, April 9.

That falls in line with the Shropshire Premier League, but no midweek games in the Tanners means their season will go on longer.

Drinks company Tanners are about to go into a 20th year of backing the league, while My-Com have agreed to back the Floodlit next season, which will start on Thursday March 4.
