Buoyant Burway in play-offs after title win
Burway have booked their place in the Furrows Shropshire Premier Bowls League play-offs - and are set to feature in the first pre play-off game on Wednesday, writes MALCOLM FLETCHER.

They secured the Blue Fin Ludlow League championship with a nervy 8-4 win at Linney last night, title rivals and reigning champions Ludlow Castle finishing two points short despite a fine 10-2 victory at high-flying Cleobury.
Claire Williams was Burway's best winner, 21-5, but she is ruled out of the play-offs as the Premier is men only.
"We're happy because the Ludlow League is a long season (30 games) and it's nice to take the title back off the Castle," said Burway's Wayne Rogers.
And Rogers & Co look set to take on J. N. Hughes Market Drayton League champions Prees on Wednesday, possibly on the new green at Bowring - with the County Women's Cup final between Wrockwardine Wood and Sir John Bayley on the other, older, green.
Play-off hopefuls Hadley USC entertain Madeley CC tonight aiming for a big win that would take them a huge step towards the Worthington Mid Shropshire League championship.
Just who the pre play-off winners take on will be decided tonight as Bylet (at home to Castlefields) and Childs Ercall (at Wrockwardine) battle it out to avoid last place in the Premier on the last night of its regular season.
