Wolves assistant manager Terry Connor has backed Sylvan Ebanks-Blake to become a top Barclays Premier League striker after he was named FourFourTwo Coca-Cola Championship player of the year at the Football League Awards.
The 22-year-old has been a revelation at Molineux since moving to the club from Plymouth in January last year and won the Championship Golden Boot after scoring 23 goals.
Ebanks-Blake already has 24 league goals this season and looks set to fire Wolves to the Premier League with Mick McCarthy's side five points clear at the top of the Championship.
"I truly believe he can play in the Premier League and I hope we're successful and he can prove that next season," said Connor.
"In 18 months he's been so consistent scoring goals and he's taken his all-round game to a higher level.
"Scoring goals is fantastic but he wants to improve his contribution too which is what will make him an exceptional player."
