The alarm was raised at 2.18pm on Wednesday, with a fire crew from the town responding to 999 calls.

When they arrived at Windsor Road, firefighters discovered that a wheelie bin had been completely engulfed in the blaze.

"Part of the conservatory had been involved in fire due to it spreading from the bin," a Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Spokesperson said.

The crew quickly dealt with the blaze, bringing it under control by 2.34pm.
