A-road through Shropshire village facing four days of closures - 34 mile diversion in place
An A-road in north Shropshire is set to face a series of closures while work to replace electricity poles gets underway.
The A53 through Shawbury will be closed at times between 8am and 5pm between Thursday, October 23 and Tuesday, October 28.
Shropshire Council said the work will last for four working days, suggesting the road will not be closed over the weekend.
