A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash involving two cars in rural Shropshire.

An incident involving two vehicles occurred on the B4176 near Long Common on Sunday

An incident involving two vehicles was reported to the emergency services at 5.50pm on Sunday.

It happened on the B4176 near Upper Aston, between Claverley and Wombourne. No injuries were reported.

Three fire engines were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Telford Central and Wellington and police were also on the scene.

West Mercia Police said in a statement: "Around 5.30pm yesterday we received a report of a collision between two cars on the B4176 at Upper Aston, Shropshire.

"We attended and no injuries were reported.

"One of the drivers was arrested on suspicion of drink driving."
