Shropshire Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group is joining forces with Shropshire Rural Hub and Natural England to demonstrate to farm contractors and their employees how to address the obligations of the new regulations to which their farmer clients must comply.

The event, to be held at Walford and North Shropshire College, Baschurch on February 15 will be aimed specifically at the workforce implementing on-farm operations - aiming to make them aware of cross compliance and the Entry Level Stewardship Scheme and how they affect the work of the contractor.

There will be practical demonstrations to illustrate how to comply with the rules when working on farms.

This is a free training day funded by Defra's Farm Advice Grant.
