Bridgnorth tractor run raises £13,000 for Midlands Air Ambulance
More than £13,000 was raised for the Midlands Air Ambulance following a vintage tractor run in Bridgnorth.
Some 520 tractors from across Britain and the UK paraded through the town as part of the 2014 National Vintage Tractor Road Run.
The event was organised by Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club in April and a final cheque has now been presented to air ambulance for £13,603.
Club chairman David Spruce said: "It was the first time anywhere in Shropshire had hosted the event.
"With the help of lots of people in and around Shropshire we were able to give the Midlands Air Ambulance a cheque for £13,603 at the Swan in Knowle Sands, Bridgnorth.
"Special thanks must go to both Bridgnorth Town Council and Shropshire Council because without their help we would not have been able to run such a big event "
