Sewer difficulties delay Newport pool work
Work on a £1 million extension at Newport Swimming Pool has been hit by further delays after builders discovered problems with the sewers.

Work ground to a halt 10 days ago after contractors discovered that the sewers needed to be diverted.
Telford & Wrekin Council initially said that builders would be back on site towards the end of last week – but today there was still no work going on.
Emily Knightley, a spokeswoman for the council, said: "The problem with the sewage work still persists.
"They have had to find different sub-contractors and expect them to be on site later this week or early next week. The problem has been identified so it should be resolved quickly."
