Woman in hospital after rush hour car crash

A woman was taken to hospital after a two car crash in Market Drayton during rush hour today.

The accident happened on Shrewsbury Road, near the Muller roundabout, at about 7.45am and the road was closed for more than an hour.

The road was blocked between the A53 junction and the Sherwood Crescent junction. It reopened at 9am.
