Organisers of crunch talks about controversial parking charges in Market Drayton have turned down dozens of requests from people wanting to attend.

About 40 people will be at the invitation-only meeting, which will be held in the town's Festival Drayton Centre on Friday from 6pm to 7.30pm.

It will be attended by MP Owen Paterson, Shropshire Council leader Keith Barrow and Councillor Simon Jones, the unitary council's cabinet member for transport.
