The body of a 59-year-old Shropshire woman who has been missing from home since last month has been found washed up on a beach in Merseyside, police confirmed today.
The body of a 59-year-old Shropshire woman who has been missing from home since last month has been found washed up on a beach in Merseyside, police confirmed today.
Alison Manning, of Summerhill Gardens, Market Drayton, was last seen alive on June 17 in Llandudno, north Wales.
Her body was found by a member of the public on the beach in Ainsdale, near Southport, on Tuesday.
Merseyside Police have formally identified Miss Manning and the force said it was not treating her death as suspicious.
Force spokesman Simon Wood said: "She had been reported as missing from the Llandudno area in north Wales on June 17.
"Next of kin have been notified."
