Shropshire actor John Challis was reunited with Antiques Roadshow presenter Fiona Bruce - a former co-star - during filming of the television show.

Mr Challis, star of Only Fools and Horses and the Shropshire based-comedy The Green Green Grass, met up with Fiona yesterday at Hampton Court Castle, near Leominster.

The pair starred together in an episode of The Green Green Grass which was filmed at Stokesay Court and featured a roadshow.

Thousands of people carrying their wares flocked to Hampton Court to take part in the 33rd series of the BBC's Antiques Roadshow which is due to start in September.

Fiona said: "It's the story that makes it interesting for people and for the experts on the show."

On her time on the programme, she added: "I can't believe it's been three years, I'm still in love with it. I don't just turn up and go home, I absolutely love it. The team are a great bunch."

Elizabeth Wells, operations manager at Hampton Court, said they had had to do very little to accommodate the crew.

She said: "We started eight months ago with the first site meeting, the last one was about six weeks ago and then it's been ongoing e-mails and telephone calls.

"They are fantastically well-organised and it's been a pleasure to work with them."
