Proms in the Park at Oswestry to end with fireworks
A Proms in the Park event will end with a firework finale.
The event, at the British Ironwork Centre near Oswestry, features the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra.
Guests can take a picnic and a blanket to sit on the lawns of the tourist attraction to enjoy the spectacle on June 10.
Pre-show performances by the Clwyd Clipper and Lilly Whitehurst will set the atmosphere before the orchestra plays classical favourite and songs from the shows, followed by fireworks.
Shropshire will have its own, Proms in the Park event A fabulous summers evening spectacular, come and enjoy a glass of prosecco with strawberries served on beautifully landscaped lawns, whilst being enchanted by the one and only Wrexham Symphony Orchestra. To start the evening off with a bang, there will be pre show performances from our special guests, Clwyd Clippers and Lilly Whitehurst, who really will create a magical atmosphere. The Orchestra will then take centre stage, playing a wonderful array of classical favourites and films from the shows, followed by a firework finale.
You are encouraged to bring a picnic hamper full of your favourite things along with a blanket to sit on and enjoy the spectacle on June 10.
Tickets, £20 and £10 for those aged five to 16, are available from the British Ironwork Centre.
