Swedish folk influence in concert

A folk concert with a difference will take place in Rhydycroesau Village Hall near Oswestry on June 17.

Emma and Daniel Reid live in Sweden and their programme on their UK door is a mix of lyrical folk music from Sweden and the British Isles.

From Northumberland, Emma started playing violin at the age of three and met her husband at the Royal College of Music. Some of their music is influenced by the baroque era with the violin and sax making for a unique sound.
