Wolves want to keep on-loan Liverpool left-back Jack Robinson next season if they stay up.

The tough-tackling England Under-21 international has done well since joining from the Reds and the club want to extend the deal if they win their survival battle in the Championship.

Robinson, 19, has reeled off seven appearances before today's crunch visit of Huddersfield.

Chief executive Jez Moxey said: "Jack has done very well. There isn't anything yet in place – we're just going to get to the end of the season. I think he's enjoying it here and he's a player we would be interested in next season."

Moxey again defended the low-key business in the two transfer windows. "We brought in three players and we're committed to Kaspars Gorkss in terms of a salary and a transfer fee if we stay up," he said."You can always do more, and let's hope we've got enough to get us over the line."
