Kevin McDonald: I loved my time at Wolves
There will be a familiar face in the Fulham line-up at Molineux today.
Kevin McDonald spent three years at Wolves left Molineux in the summer after three years at Wolves, joining the Cottagers for £1.25m.
The midfielder will be remembered fondly by Wolves supporters, particularly for being the heartbeat of the team that won the League One title in 2013/14 when McDonald was named player of the season.
He has since settled in well at Fulham, scoring three goals in 16 appearances.
And the 28-year-old is looking forward to his first return to Molineux. He told Fulham's official website: "I saw a couple of the (Wolves) boys on Sunday when I bumped into them at Winter Wonderland, so we had a bit of a laugh and a joke there.
"It's always the same, everyone has a laugh together but when it gets to Saturday there'll be no laughing and joking then, everyone will be serious, myself included.
"That's football at the end of the day, I've moved on from Wolves. I couldn't fault the place one bit, I had a fantastic three years there where I really enjoyed my time.
"I played with and met some amazing people, but I'm on the opposite team now, I'm on the other side, so I've got to go there and be professional and put in a good performance."
Cottagers boss Slavisa Jovanovic said of McDonald: "Kevin is an experienced player.
"He didn't need much time to adapt to us. He's shown his quality and personality.
"We signed him because we believe he can help us and at the beginning of the season he did a very good job.
"We all have weaknesses and strengths and he tried to cover his weaknesses and try and show his strength of the players to meet the plan.
"This is the situation for all of us."
Fulham arrive at Molineux with the third best away record in the league.
They are currently 10th in the Championship, three points off the play-offs, and thrashed high-flying Reading 5-0 at Craven Cottage last weekend.
They had beaten Huddersfield Town by the same scoreline a few weeks earlier, showing that they are having few problems finding the net despite losing strikers Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele last summer.
Chris Martin, who was the subject of a £6.5m bid from Wolves, is now leading the line having moved on loan from Derby County alongside former Hull man Sone Aluko.
Another ex-Wolves player, Scott Malone, is the first-choice left back.
Defender Ryan Fredericks believes last Saturday's thrashing of the Royals was no fluke.
"We've outplayed pretty much everyone we've come up against this season, and we know we're millimetres off doing good things this year and finishing up in a good position," he said.
"We're 10th in the table, but that's only a few points off fourth place, so as long as we keep playing like that then we're going to be up there.
"The gaffer set us up really well. They said we'd get chances from it and that's exactly what happened.
"From Tuesday morning we were working on it and we put it into practice. All the lads, from the goalkeeper to the strikers, put the game plan into place perfectly."
