Kenny Jackett: Wolves fans spurred us to glory
Kenny Jackett today paid tribute to Wolves' record-breaking 9,000-strong following at MK Dons and insisted it showed the "considerable" potential of the club.
Saturday's 1-0 win at stadium:mk made it 12 victories in the last 14 games for the League One leaders and left them needing just 10 points from their remaining seven games to clinch automatic promotion, with a 10-point gap over third-placed Leyton Orient.
But the main talking point was the gold and black army of 8,943 travelling fans
"The fans made it feel like a home game for us and that's a great testament to them," said Jackett. "They backed us all the way through and the atmosphere at the end was fantastic.
"I want to thank all our supporters who went because not only did they all make the journey, but they also drove us on to get that victory."
And Jackett believes a top-two place is in sight now.
"It's certainly ours to lose if you look at the table," said the head coach. "We're in a great position."
