Kenny Jackett hints at Wolves loan raids
Kenny Jackett today hintedthat he will continue to raid the loan market to underpin Wolves' promotion push.
The Molineux head coach is looking for potential signings to emulate James Henry, whose loan to January will become a £250,000 permanent move from Millwall next month.
No decision has been made yet on Michael Jacobs, whose stint from Derby expires on January 2.
"The overall principle of strengthening the team when we need to is ongoing – it doesn't necessarily just crystallise in the transfer window," said Jackett.
"For those in the Premier League, it builds up to the January window, but for the Championship and below, you feel you're capable of strengthening the side whenever it needs it, albeit through loans between the windows.
"But that can be a very useful weapon where you can have a look at a player who can do very well and have an excellent permanent career. So regardless of January, we'll keep assessing the team."
