Head coach Kenny Jackett believes it's down to the 23-year-old stopper to kickstart negotiations with talks in deadlock.

Batth, who has been an ever present in League One this season, is into the final year of his deal.

Wolves have been trying to persuade the academy graduate to sign new terms since the summer after taking up the 12-month option on his contract in April.

"I just think it's a case of when Danny wants to settle things," said Jackett. "The ball is in his court.

"We're continually ready to talk but at present there is no agreement."
