Karl Henry: Wolves must get physical

An angry Karl Henry today demanded his team-mates stand up to the Championship's physical challenge insisting: "We have to start winning the battles."

The Wolves captain was clearly shaken by his team's tame surrender against Burnley and refused to accept new manager Stale Solbakken's demands for a change in style as an excuse for the players.

Wolves can brace themselves for more of the same again tomorrow when they head for a clash with Hull City who have won four of their last five games.

"It is a physical game and they always are in the Championship when they come thick and fast," said Henry.

"Teams can play nice, pretty football in the Premier League but in this division you need to mix it up and I don't think we did that today.

"The manager wants us to play with a high tempo and he wants us to keep the ball.

"I think we can keep the ball better than we have done but we've got to turn that into chances and scoring goals and make sure we improve in that area.

"I think we have played enough games now to know the way the manager wants us to play."
