The 25-year-old 6ft 4in centre-half began his career with Norwich City. Following a move to Cambridge United and a number of loan deals in the eastern counties, he then switched to Wrexham.

Hudson made 73 appearances for The Dragons, scoring seven goals, before joining Chester FC.

Meanwhile, Wrexham-born defender James Jones has left Park Hall. Jones graduated through the academy system at TNS.

Manager Craig Harrison said: “I hope he goes on to enjoy his football and play at as high a level that he can.”
