Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Chris Neal is hoping to resolve his future with the newly-promoted club next week.
Neal is keen to remain at the Greenhous Meadow, where he established himself as the first-choice shot-stopper during last season's League Two campaign.
The 26-year-old was offered a new contract in the wake of promotion and is planning to hold talks with Town's hierarchy with a view to putting pen to paper in the next few days.
Shrewsbury Town summer ins and outs
"Hopefully we can get it sorted at the start of next week. I'm not looking to move on," said Neal, who revealed there had been "nothing concrete" in terms of interest from other clubs.
Should Neal accept the fresh deal, he would be the only member of last season's squad offered a new contract to do so after James Collins joined Swindon, Shane Cansdell-Sherriff and Nicky Wroe moved to Preston and captain Ian Sharps re-joined Rotherham.
And he also expects fresh competition in the goalkeeping department following the release of Ben Smith.
Meanwhile, Shrewsbury will receive an allocation of 3,000 for the trip to Elland Road which has been brought forward to Saturday, August 11.
Town fans will be based in the West Stand with a price structure of £12 adults and £6 concessions agreed.
