Larry Chambers: AFC Telford needed the win
AFC Telford United assistant boss Larry Chambers claimed a solitary point was hard to swallow despite a promising performance for most parts at Gainsborough.
The Bucks struck early but were instantly pegged back in Lincolnshire.
Despite a late dismissal from Curtis Tilt, they hung onto their point and could have even nicked if with a number of chances of their own.
Chambers said: "Under any other circumstances and any other time of the season you come here and take a point.
"It's not an easy place to come, it's always difficult and, to be fair to Steve Housham (Trinity boss), he's got a decent squad of players.
"There's a lot of experience in there and some good quality. But in the situation that we're in, we're disappointed because you need the three points."
The Bucks had goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne to thank for a number of second-half stops, including one in stoppage time.
But Rob Smith's side hit the post themselves, as well as passing up a number of presentable opportunities. Ryan Rowe, Graham Hutchison and John Cofie all went close.
Chambers added: "I think the way that the game panned out in the end it could've gone either way. We had chances and they had chances.
"We'll feel disappointed because we should've scored some goals and they'll feel the same.
"(Rowe hitting post)Those sort of moments change games but we haven't been clinical enough all season really.
"We don't create a vast amount of chances and when we have them we don't take enough of them."
Chambers also gave his thoughts on debutants Eusebio Bancessi and Cofie.
He added: "It was difficult for Bancessi, without making excuses for him, the conditions aren't great, the pitch isn't great and was different to what he's used to.
"He showed in spells that he's very quick, pacy and powerful but a couple of times it passed it him by a little bit but it was a decent debut. At home against better teams, I think he'll cause problems.
"John Cofie hasn't played a lot of football but when he came in he was lively. I think he looks a threat, he was brave and for him it was a very good debut.
"I've got to be positive and say it was a point gained."
