Four big games for depleted AFC Telford
Boss Rob Smith is already focusing on 'four massive games' for depleted AFC Telford United after tomorrow's FA Trophy test against Chester.
The Bucks are missing Paul McCone and almost certainly without Dwayne Samuels, Darren Campion and Dave Hibbert, while Sean Clancy and Izak Reid are rated as '50-50.'
In addition, Connor McCarthy is ineligible and Mike Grogan, Eddie Toner and Zac Lilly are cup-tied having played in the competition for other clubs.
It's left Smith focusing on the four league games following the Trophy tie, starting with the visit of Lowestoft a week tomorrow.
Smith said: "All the players we've got left will play tomorrow – the amount we've got missing has decimated us.
"But for me we've got four unbelievably big league games coming up after this weekend and all my focus is on that and I make no apologies for that."
Smith has vowed to put out a competitive side and Burton Albion have given permission for loanees Liam Slade and Sam Austin to play.
He said: "Whatever team I put out will have a go and we'll still have a decent side out. But we've got to be realistic with what we've got available because it's made our task even harder."
Smith admitted the Trophy has made it very difficult to make signings, after releasing Robert Paratore and Nathan Modest at the start of the week.
McCone still hasn't recovered from medial knee ligament damage and Samuels has a groin knock that forced him to miss last week's defeat at Curzon Ashton.
Campion is still troubled by his knee and shoulder and Hibbert injured his knee last weekend.
Clancy has been out with ankle ligament damage, while Reid only came back from ruptured ankle ligaments in Wednesday's friendly against Market Drayton, and isn't ready for a competitive return.
