Manager Steve Kittrick had been aiming to sign the 26-year-old, who also spent time on loan at fellow Conference Premier side Southport earlier in the campaign.

And Dyer, who came up through the youth ranks at Hednesford Town, will now go straight into the squad for tomorrow's trip to Forest Green Rovers.

Dyer spent more than a year playing for tomorrow's opponents Forest Green in 2010-11 and also won the Conference title with Mansfield Town in 2012-13.

About the new signing, Bucks' Chairman Ian Dosser said: "We consider this to be another statement of our intention.

"We will do everything we can to support the manager and to retain our Conference Premier Status. Ross is a quality acquisition who we hope can help us in the time that he is here."
