AFC Telford shortlisting for manager's job
AFC Telford United are whittling down to a shortlist of applicants for the vacant manager's job.
But the club, who have already started interviewing for the post, also intend to make approaches to a number of other people.
It means they are unlikely to have their man in place by the original target of Saturday afternoon.
More than 30 applicants have applied for the job following Liam Watson's sacking last Saturday, and Telford are pursuing a handful with a view to filling the managerial hot-seat.
But today's announcement brings further individuals into the spotlight.
Chairman Ian Dosser said: "It was our original intention to complete this process in time for Saturday's game against Eastleigh.
"However, this is now unlikely. Andy Todd and Andy Pryce will continue to prepare and take the team for Saturday's game.
"The board, along with the Trust chairman continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the correct appointment is made, with the best interests of the club always at the forefront of our thinking."
