Liam Watson leaves AFC Telford
AFC Telford United manager Liam Watson has left the club less than two hours after his side's 1-1 draw with Chester in the FA Trophy.
The club released have released a statement confirming that Watson and his assistant Dominic Morley have left the New Bucks Head.
It read: "It is with regret that the club and trust board announce the departure of Liam Watson & Dominic Morley from the Club with immediate effect.
"We would like to thank them both for their effort and commitment since joining the club in May 2013.
"More importantly, their unique achievements on winning the club's first ever championship in 62 years, and for taking the Club to the 2nd Round Proper of the FA Cup for the first time ever.
"The club and trust board will now work quickly to appoint a permanent successor who's main task will be to fulfil the Club's main objective of retaining Vanarama Premier status this season."
