AFC Telford's Josh Hancock loaned to Witton

AFC Telford United winger Josh Hancock has been loaned back to Witton Albion despite switching sides in the close season.

The Bucks paid a nominal fee to sign Hancock on a one-year contract in the summer, after tracking the wide man for months.

But the 23-year-old is already back at Wincham Park, having been allowed to rejoin his former club for a month's temporary spell.

He's been hampered by blisters in pre-season and manager Liam Watson has decided on a loan spell to get him up to speed.

Watson, who takes his side to Dartford in the Conference Premier tomorrow, said: "What we need to do is get him some game time."

Albion fans will be glad to see him back after his 18 goals last season, but he's yet to kick a competitive ball for Telford as yet.

Watson's injury problems could be eased this weekend with Chris Lever (hamstring) and Kristian Platt (calf) both nearing a return.
