The Bucks romped to their first league title in 62 years to secure their return to non-league's top flight, after just one season in the Conference North.

And assistant manager Dominic Morley believes it was just the right time to get out of the division, which he reckons will become a lot stronger next season.

He said: "It looks like the Conference North is only going to get tougher. This season, you have got AFC Fylde and Chorley coming up with big budgets. Then you have got the likes of Chester coming down from the Premier.

"It was a good time for us to get out of that league and we don't want to be going back.

"We know that we need to survive and try to progress further."
