Moors were rightfully in the lead through Ryan Beswick's goal at half-time and were on top until Sean Clancy's equaliser, with Telford the better side by the end today.
The rarity of a backpass occured in the 14th minute as Telford ploughed forward looking to break the deadlock, after Charlie Barnett's ball over the top put Andy Owens clear.
Defender Stuart Pierpoint made a last-ditch tackle and the ball rolled back to goalkeeper Jasbir Singh, who picked it up and conceded an indirect free kick.
It came to nothing, in the end, with Robbie Booth having his foot over the ball and rolling it to Matthew McGinn, whose shot was blocked by the Solihull wall.
Moors were the better side in the first-half and deservedly had the lead from 19 minutes, after quick-thinking from Darryl Knights put Beswick in the clear.
Knights' lofted the ball over the top with the Bucks defence napping and Beswick broke free to finish under the dive of goalkeeper Ryan Young for the opener.
They were lucky not to be 2-0 down on 25 minutes, Young saving with his legs from Omar Bogle after the home side failed to react to a throw in from Peter Till.
The best chances of the half for Telford were both off target, first on the half hour when Owens laid it off on the left flank to strike partner Adam Farrell, but the finish was wide.
Three minutes before the break another chance went begging when Booth's ball in from the right was headed on by captain Simon Grand to Neill Byrne, who headed wide of the near post.
After the break, Telford came back into the game although they could have conceded again three minutes into the second-half, goalscorer Beswick turning provider for Knights.
Knights effort was wide in a good position from the central area and the visitors were made to pay on 56 minutes as Telford, admittedly against the run of play, got an equaliser.
McGinn's looping ball into a crowded box was headed back across the area by Byrne for Clancy to stoop low and nod the ball past Singh at the near post.
From there, it was Telford in the ascendancy and Clancy should have put them ahead on 64 minutes but he barely connected with Barnett's cross, heading wide.
Moments later, Moors were down to 10 men as Michael Nottingham, already booked for dragging back McGinn on 50 minutes, obstructed Clancy as the ball came across.
It looked to have cost Moors doubly when Clancy had the ball in the net a minute later, heading in Booth's cross from the right, but referee Joseph Johnson judged he was offside.
The game petered out after that and Gough went into Johnson's book for bodychecking Martyn Jackson, making his league debut for the Bucks as a late substitute.
